Animal Crackers

I got some individual bags of animal crackers and needed a treat bag for them. I came up with a way using the Blended Seasons Stitched Season Framelits die,cat punch and new stamp set Spooky Sweets.
Here's how:

Die cut 2 frames using the large die out of Pumpkin Pie cardstock .

Score one end  of each starting at 5" and scoring at 6".

Glue the 2 scored ends together .
Punch out cat using cat punch. Glue on front.
Stamp sentiment is from Spooky Sweets that will be available September 5th from new Holiday catalog .
Place animal cracker bag in the middle and tie top with ribbon.

August/September Paper Pumpkin

Welcome to my blog. These are the cards from the August Paper Pumpkin I made.

These first two were done using the directions. These next two I made using bird and butterfly cutouts I had in my stash. I think they turned out nice.

You don't have to follow the directions in the Paper Pumpkin kits. Use your imagination to create. This is what I like about Paper Pumpkin . For beginners it's a place to start and learn. For the seasoned crafter you can make as is or create alternatives.

September Paper Pumpkin is going to be Halloween related and has enough to make 24. That is the only hint we've gotten about it and I know it will be another great kit. You need to order by September 10th.

Post it Note Holder

I have been getting ready for an upcoming fall craft fair. This is a post it note holder I made using Stampin Up products.

I used Rich Razzleberry cardstock and Natures Poem DSP cut as shown in the picture.

Score the cardstock on one end 2", 2 3/8 and the other end 5 1/2", 5 7/8" . Score the folds and glue the DSP to the front.

Glue the post it note pad inside. I used small Velcro dots for closer.
If you have strong DSP you can make it without using the cardstock . Cut and score the DSP as you would the cardstock .

 This is a treat holder I made for the craft fair.

Natures Poem with Animal Outing Card

I like how these two suites work together.

The card base is Rich Razzleberry.

DSP layer is a 4x5 1/4 piece from Natures Poem collection. 

Using small label die from Color Your Season(available till August 31) die cut as in photo.

Die cut another in whisper white with medium label die. Stamp giraffe image from Animal Outing stamp set in Berry Burst. Glue behind DSP and glue to card base .

On scrap of white stamp sentiment . Fuzzy cut out and place on front using Dimensionals .

Inside the card I used a piece of 4x5 Whisper White cardstock stamping leaves on the top.

Blended Seasons- Thank You

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Another card using Blended Season stamp and die set. This set is available until August 31 or until supplies last. You can buy as a bundle or as single purchase ( die or stamp set). You can order on my on line store(shop here button on right).

For this card I used an Early Espresso card base. I used a piece of 4x5 1/4 piece of Wood Texture DSP as layering piece. I cut out the middle using the medium size label die from the die set. I used a scrap piece of whisper white to stamp the image using crushed curry ink. I then glued to the back of the layering piece and added to card front using Dimensionals.

I cut the floral image out of whisper white and colored using the water color pencils that are available too.

On the inside I used a piece of whisper white to stamp the sentiment and image.

Don't forget about bonus days. 5$ for every 50 spent this month to use in September when the new Holiday catalog comes out!

Paper Pumpkin

Hanging Garden kinetic(flip)card

 

This is one of my favorite returning stamp sets. I like both the images and sentiments.
To make this card I made a card base using a sizzix flip it die. I decorated the sides using Stampin Up
Garden Impressions DSP and 6x6 Designer Series paper. I stamped the flower basket image and butterflies coloring with Water Color pencils set 2(available now in the Color Your Seasons flyer). I stamped the sentiment on the back along with a few more butterflies.

Blended Seasons/Stitched Seasons Fall

Welcome to my blog. The other day I showed how to use this bundle for Christmas . Today will make a fall card.

I started by making a card base from an 8 1/2" x 11"VeryVanilla cardstock . I cut it  it at 5 1/2" on the long side giving me 2 card bases .

I cut a piece of scrap Early Espresso 3"x 4 1/4" and a piece of Natures Poem DSP 2 3/4" x 4 ". I layered them together and glued on the left side of card base.

On the right side I stamped the image from Blended Seasons and colored with the new water color pencils .

For the sentiment I used the tailored tag punch . For layer look I punched out another tag in Early Espresso and glued on the back. I then used dimensional to put it on the card front.

I then had to make another card using my Corgi stamps with this stamp set. This a very versatile bundle you can use with other stamps you have. If you want this set order on my website. Only have this month to get it before it's gone. If you need a catalog let me know.
