Paper Pumpkin

Paper Pumpkin is starting to coordinate with products from the Annual Catalog. The July kit coordinates with 3 suites from the catalog: Woven Threads, Garden Lane and Come Sail Away.
You get enough materials to make 9 cards with envelopes. You then can use the stamp set and ink to make more projects with any of the 3 suites listed. You do not have to buy the whole suite since you already have the stamp set maybe just buy the DSP .  You have till July 10th to order.
You can order Paper Pumpkin here:

You can other products from my website.
Happy crafting.

Let it ride/ Magnolia Lane DSP/updates

Welcome to my blog. This is another card using Let it Ride stamp set. This time I paired it with the Magnolia Lane DSP. Love this paper not so much the stamp set or suite offered in the catalog that goes with it. But I think it works nice with Let it Ride . Remember you don’t have to buy everything in a suite. Buy what you like and it will work with what you have.
Card 1. Materials and Directions:
1. Card base Whisper White cardstock 51/2 x 41/4
2. Magnolia Lane DSP cut 4 x 51/4. I used an oval die to cut out the center
3. I put the DSP on top of the card base( don’t glue yet).I then stamped the image in the center using Soft Suede Stampin pad . Then I glued the DSP on the card front.

Card. 2.
For card 2 I used scraps from card 1. Card base I used Mossy Meadow cardstock same dimension as card 1. I used a scrap of Whisper White and with layering oval cut out an oval. I then stamped the image on the this piece. Then I glued it on top of the DSP oval( leftover from card 1). I then adhered this to card front. I used a scrap of the Magnolia Lane DSP for the side piece.
If you like this set and the paper you can order them from my website.

Updates:
1. Clearance has added some stamps for the first time. Check it out. There are some nice stamp sets there. My favorite is the Snowmen.
2. Starting July 1st bonus days will start till August 1. For every 50$ you spend you get 5$ coupon.
3. If you’ve thought of being a demonstrator July would be a good time to start. Special bonus for 2 months.

Let it Ride / Country Road Fun Fold Card

Welcome to my blog. Hope you had a great weekend.
Continuing with Fair Theme this week I will spotlight Let it Ride. I remember entering the horse shows and watching the rodeos at our local Summer Fair.
Let it Ride stamp set is perfect for making simple cards to more complex. The following card is a fun fold card even a beginner can make. I was reminded of this type of card watching a Brenda Quintana tutorial on you tube. I have made them before with 3 strips . I like the 2 strips it gives you space for stamping images.

Materials and Directions
1. Card base is Whisper White 81/2 x 51/2. Score @ 2 1/8 & 6 3/8

2. Layering cardstock Mango Melody

  Cut 2 @ 4x 2 1/2
3. Layering cardstock Whisper White
Cut 2 at 3 3/4 x 2 1/4. Stamp and color the images from Let it Ride on one piece. The other piece stamp the image from Country Road. Glue these atop the Mango Melody Layering pieces.

Then glue these pieces to the front. Only put glue on the part that glues to the card. One on the right the other on the left.
4. For the card inside cut a piece of Mango Melody 4 x 5. Glue apiece of Whisper White 33/4x 43/4 on top. Stamp a sentiment here.
Here are the products I used. You can order from my website. Remember you can make this card with what you have. You only need the Let it Ride stamp set.

Tuesday Tips/ love it chop it

Thanks for stopping by. I made the above card using the “love it chop it method” and Over the Moon stamp set. It’s fair time here this stamp set is great for this.
What is “love it chop it”? It’s a way of preparing your DSP so that you can easily use it( instead of hoarding it). I found this technique on Kylie Bertucci you tube channel. Since it was 100+ outside today I decided to give it a try. I highly recommend you watch Kylie’s video. She goes into more detail.
But here is the short version:
1.12 x12 DSP cut at 51/4( you get 2 this size). You will have a strip left over. I cut it in half.

Remember for directional images cut how you want it to be seen( portrait or landscape).
2. Cut the 51/4 pieces at 4( you will get 3 this size)

For storage I’m using this storage box I got at Michaels (70%off). These boxes are just the right size. I started with the most recent DSP and am now working on my favorite older DSP.

Materials and Directions for the card:
1. Mint macaron cardstock base 51/2x 41/4
2. Retired DSP cut using #loveitchopit
3. White layer left over from paper Pumpkin
4. Stamp set Over the Moon in the new catalog. Image covered with Stampin blends I have.
All can be purchased on my website.
Happy crafting

Materials and Directions:
1. I used the new in color Terracotta Tile for the card base. 51/2 x 81/2
2. I had a scrap piece of Mosaic Mood DSP with the hummingbirds that I glued to the front.
3. Inside the card I used a piece of Whisper White 3 3/4 x 5 that stamped the sentiment on. I glued this inside the card.

You can find the products I used on my website. Use the Host Code KJFXZHHB for orders less than 150$.  Happy crafting!
I found these hedgehog cookies at Trader Joe’s. Made a box for them for my Saturday craft fair.

Catalog Launch Memorable Mosaic Bundle

Good day once again. This will be my last blog of the day. Hope you enjoyed my blog launch of the new catalog. This is the first time I’ve tried this. Maybe by next year I’ll be brave enough to do it on video.
The tree in this stamp set is unique. I like how it looks on a card.

This card uses the simple stamping technique. All you need is the stamp(I used the stamp setMemorable Mosaic), paper(I used Whisper White for the base) and ink( I used soft suede and
granny apple green).
For this next card I wanted to showcase the neat paper Mosaic Mood DSP.

One side is embossed and shiny the other side smooth. I didn’t want to hide the paper so I put the sentiment inside.

Hope you take some time to check out the catalog. There is a lot of neat new products as well as returning favorites. You don’t have to buy everything in a suite or bundle. For example I only bought the paper from the Magnolia Lane Suite. Love the paper not so crazy about the rest.  Remember you can make cards using DSP and any stamp set. You can also make cards having only a stamp set.Take your time the catalog is good for a year. You can order from my website. For orders less than 150$ use the Host Code KJFXZHHB.
The first person to comment on which was their favorite from the 3 blogs I will send a prize.
Happy crafting.

Catalog Launch Floral Essence Bundle

Welcome back. Like to introduce you to Floral Essence. You can bundle and get the coordinating punch. There is also a coordinating paper.
For this first card I used all 3. The paper, stamps and punch. I also used the new in color cardstock Purple Posey for the card base and banner( used the triple banner punch). The sentiment I stamped and punched out using the new Timeless Label Punch.
For this next card I used only the Perennial Essence DSP and  stamp set. The paper is beautiful on its own for making cards. You can use any stamp you want for the sentiment.
Both these cards would make great wedding or graduation cards.
You can find these products on my Website.  For orders less than 150$ use the Host Code KJFXZHHB. Happy crafting thanks for stopping by. I’ll have another post I awhile.
