Piece of Cake Pocket Card

Welcome to my blog. This card we’ll be making in my next class. I got the idea from Karen Titus from stamping on my back porch. It can also hold a gift card or money. Piece of Cake is a returning stamp and punch available in the Annual catalog.
Materials and Directions :
1.Card base is a piece of colored cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/4 score @ 2,and @ 5-3/4 fold and glue the seams.
2. Pull out piece- cardstock 6-1/4 x 3-1/2 score@ 1-1/2 round the corners. On the flap I used a piece of DSP 3-1/4 x 1-1/4. Round the corners and glue to the cardstock. Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock 4-1/2 x3-1/4. Glue this to the cardstock. Decorate how you want and add a sentiment you want.
3. Front decoration- I used layering oval dies . The smaller in Whisper White stamp and color the image. I used dimensionals to layer on top of the colored oval. Then I used dimensionals to pop up the whole thing. It also keeps the flap down.
If you have time I encourage you to take some of Karen Titus’s classes (stamping on the back porch) .
She teaches different skills in a fun and informative way.

Back On Your Feet pocket slider/2 versions

Welcome to my blog. For today’s card I used Stampin Up and a die from The Stamps of Life. She has some great dies that work great with Stampin Up. I love Stampin Up but I also love products from other venues and like to use them together. If you don’t have the die there are directions on Pinterest on how to make them but found this easier for me.
Materials and Directions Version 1:

1. A piece of cardstock 4-1/4 x 5-1/2. Color of your choice to go with the DSP.
2. A second piece of cardstock (same color). To die cut the slider.
3. A piece of DSP of your choice to cut out the slider layer.
4. Put together using directions from the die video.

Materials and Directions for Version 2:

1. Card base cardstock 9-1/2x4-1/4 ( color of your choice), score at 4-3/4. After scoring die cut an oval on the front. I made the notch using 1 inch circle punch only going in 1/2 way
2. Cardstock insert 4 x 41/2 ( same color as above). Whisper White 3-3/4 x 4-1/4. Glue this piece on top of the colored piece. Put inside he card base then stamp the image and sentiment. Color using what you have. The circle pull I made using 1 inch circle punch and layer circle die.
3. DSP. You need two strips. One 9 x 1, the other 9 x 1/2. The larger wrap around the bottom glue in the back. The smaller around the top and glue in the back.
You can order the supplies needed from my website. Happy Crafting.

Fold one side in 1/2. This will give you a Z fold card. Whisper White  cardstock piece 4 x5-1/4 for the inside.

Dino Days Christmas Cards/ Updates

Welcome to my blog. Still playing with Dino Days. When I saw the leaf papers from the Dinoroar DSP I thought why not a Christmas card!  I also used Rooted in Nature and the retired Christmas Pines(one of my favorite Christmas bundles).
Materials and Directions:
1. Card base- I used Whisper White cardstock 8-1/2x11 cut@ 5-1/2 then folded at 4-1/4. You get 2 card bases.
2. Layering piece is Dinoroar DSP cut at 4 x 5-1/4. Glue to the front of the card base.
3. From Rooted in Nature I stamped the image on a scrap piece of Whisper White using Soft Suede ink pad. I then fuzzy cut it out and glued to the card front as shown in the picture.
4. I used the dies from Christmas Pines to cut out the leaves in Old Olive, the pine cone in Crumb
Cake, and bow in retired red glitter paper. I also die cut the dinosaur in red glitter as well using the
die from Dino Days.. I then adhered to the front of the card. Here is the card using the other leaf paper.

I’m having fun with the Dino Days bundle. Today’s card is a fun fold technique I learned from Karen Titus from Stamping on the Back Porch.
Materials and Directions:
1.  card base- I used Mint Macaron cardstock 8-1/2 x11 cut at 5-1/2and folded at 4-1/4. This gives you 2 card bases.
2.  Layering pieces-
Inside I used Follow your Art DSP cut @ 8 x 5-1/4.
Outside I used Dinoroar DSP cut @ 4x 5-14
3. Whisper White for the inside cut @ 8-1/2x 1-1/4, score @ 2-1/8, 4-1/4, 6-3/8
fold and glue to the inside as in photo.
4. The dinosaurs I die cut from the Dinoroar DSP. I glued 4 to the inside strip and 2 pterodactyls to
