Tomorrow starts the 24 hour stamp sale at Stampin Up. If there are stamps on this list you’ve been thinking about this is the time to get them. I’m going to get the Tea Together stamp set.. What are you getting? You can go to my website to order .

Feels Like Frost DSP

Welcome to my blog. This is a very busy time of the year. Craft fairs, craft fair prep and dog shows. I have something every weekend till Christmas. This weekend is Corgi Con at Ocean Beach in San Francisco California. If your near there on Saturday come on by between 10am -2pm and see hundreds of corgis .  If you noticed the cards I made are not Corgis but Border Collie( another breed of dog I own). As I mentioned in a past blog I love making cards with dogs. Unfortunately Stampin Up does not have many dog stamps and dies . I have quite a collection and love to use them with my Stampin Up papers.  The new Holiday catalog has some beautiful paper collections and Feels Like Frost DSP is one of them. I think it worked well with the dog stamp to make a non traditional Christmas card. You could do this with stamps you have and the Stampin Up papers. The Christmas sentiment is also from Stampin Up. It’s called Itty Bitty Christmas. This stamp set has a nice variety
of seasonal sentiments.
The paper and the sentiment stamp set can be purchased from my website.

Fridays CASE with Snowman Season

Welcome to my blog. What does CASE mean. It means copy and share everything. You find s card layout you like and copy it. You can copy exactly or change it up to make it yours. Either way a great resource for this is the Annual catalog or Holiday catalog. The following card I cased from the Annual catalog on page 69. I don’t have the stamp set they used so I used Snowman Season stamp set instead. I also used a different ribbon.
 Materials and Directions:
1. Card base- Night of Navy cardstock 5-1/2 x4-1/4
2. Layering piece is from the 2018-2020 6x6 DSP cut  3-1/2 x 4-3/4
3. Layering piece is Whisper White cut from Stitched rectangle die. If you don’t have it cut a rectangle 3 x3-1/4. Stamp Snowman image and sentiment.  I used the sentiment from Itty Bitty Christmas but you can use a sentiment you have. Glue this to the DSP layer.
4. I used Flax ribbon and glued this first on the front. Then using dimensionals I added the layering piece.
If you get stuck on ideas for cards, check your catalog for ideas.
You can order this fun Snowman Season Set from my website as well as other materials.

Birds of a Feather/Wrapped in Plaid DSP Christmas treat box

Welcome to my blog. I bought a new treat box die (from The Stamps of Life)and of course had to try it out. I decided it would be great to use with my Stampin Up stamp set Birds of a Feather. I also used  Stampin Up cardstock and theWrapped in Plaid DSP. Here’s how it came out:

I cut the box out using my cuttlebug using Poppy Parade cardstock. Put it together . The layers I cut out using Wrapped in Plaid DSP and glued to the sides. I then die cut a circle out of Whisper White cardstock using Stitched Shape circle die. I stamped the image then colored using Stampin blends.
If you don’t have a treat box die there are some cute box ideas on Pinterest you could use to make a
treat box.
Here are some others I made using other images on the front that I have. I plan on filling them for upcoming craft fairs.
You can order the Stampin Up products from my website using the host code RU37BUSA for orders less than 150$. Thanks for stopping by.

Birds of a Feather/ August Paper Pumpkin

Welcome to my blog. Yesterday I used Painted Harvest to make gift bags from the August Paper Pumpkin. Today with the leftovers from the kit and Birds of a Feather stamp set from the Holiday catalog I made cards. These are 2 I made.
Materials and Directions:
1. Card base - Both use Early Espresso cardstock 4-1/4x 5-1/2
2. Layering pieces on both are 4x 5-1/4 of retired DSP (you can use what you have) glued to the card base.
3. Banners are from the Paper Pumpkin Kit glued on top of the layering piece.
4. Cut circle using the Stitched circle die. Then stamp the turkey image from the Birds of a
Feather stamp set. Color using what you have. I used Stampin Blends that you can order from my website.. For the card on the left I glued the circle to the banner. Embellished using elements from the kit. Used ribbon from the kit to make the bow. For the card on the right I used the circle from the kit and glued the turkey to it. I also embellished with elements from the kit. I also made a bow using the ribbon.
If you don’t have the kit you could make your own banners using what you have. This is the beauty of Stampin Up in that it can be used with what you have. The Birds of a Feather stamp set is one that can be used for upcoming Holidays. The images are cute. You can order this set from my website.
When ordering use the host code RU37BUSA for orders less than 150$.
Remember that you have till Monday to get in on the free DSP special I posted about yesterday.
