Stocking Stuffer Mini Wallet writing tablet using Let in Snow DSP

Welcome to my blog. Can’t believe it’s December already! I’m going to start a series on stocking stuffers. This first one is a Mini Wallet Writing Tablet. This was very popular at my craft fairs. The writing tablets I got at Dollar Tree. They come in a package of 5. Pull them apart keeping the backing. To ones without card stock you need to add on on the back.
Here’s how to cut the DSP:
Then put the tablet on the paper as in the picture. Crease edges before gluing pad. When you’ve finished glue tablet.
Next put on the belly band
Last glue the tree on the front on the belly band.

On Line Extravaganza /Paper Pumpkin Alternative

Welcome to my blog. Tomorrow is the last day for Stampin Up Online Extravaganza. Remember you save 15% on select items. See my last blog for details.
I decided to make some alternatives to the October Paper Pumpkin. I wanted to make some cards that are easier to mail. Here’s what I came up with:

Materials and Directions:
1. Card base- Night of Navy cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. fold to make card 4-1/4 x 5-1/2
2. Layering piece. I used a piece from Feels Like Frost DSP cut 4 x 5-1/4. Glue to card front. Then with the largest nesting die cut out the front piece. Be sure to open the card base and lay flat to put the die on top of the layering piece then cut it out.
3. I then took the paper pumpkin card and cut the front 4 x 5-1/4. I stamped the sentiment from paper pumpkin and the snow flakes . I then used the images from the Snow Front stamp set .  For the cabin I stamped off once before stamping. I then glued this to the inside. I then took the trees from the paper pumpkin kit. I cut one side of the trees off then glued to the inside of the car. Last I added the cardinal.
With the leftover from this card I made this card.

Very Merry Toile Tidings

Welcome to my blog. I can’t believe it’s been a week since my last blog. Was very busy weekend and week . Since then I’ve found out the Moose punch is no longer available so I came up with the following cards that use punches still available. I used Toile Tidings DSP with the cat and dog punch.

Both cards are put together the same way but with different punches.
Materials and Directions:
1. Card base 8-1/2 x 11 very vanilla cardstock cut at 5-1/2 this gives you 2 card bases
2. Layering pieces. Shaded Spruce cardstock 4x 5-1/4 glue to front of card base.
Toile Tidings DSP 3-3/4x 5 glue this on top of shaded spruce.
3. Using Large stitched nested label die cut a piece from very vanilla.
4. Using the punch punch out the object (dog or cat). I tied a bow out of red twine and put on the neck of the animal and a sequin in the middle. On the one I stamped sentiment next to image. For the other I die cut another piece of very vanilla using smaller stitched nested label die.
5. Inside the card I put Merry Christmas . You could also put birthday .
6. Sentiment from Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set.
You can order what you need from my website. Remember  to use the host code 92C74EAE for orders less than 150$

Merry Moose bundle/Paper Pumpkin

Welcome to my blog. Todays card I made for an upcoming card class at our local library this weekend. I wanted something simple for new crafters. I really like this bundle. Great for winter/holiday cards . Also can be used for birthdays, guy cards and woodsy cards. Just a nice year round set. You’ll find it on page 27 of the Holiday catalog.
Materials and Directions:
1. Card base is Whisper White 4-1/4 x 5-1/2
2. Layer piece is red  cut 4 x 5-1/4
3. Layer piece of DSP cut 3 x 4. I used a retired DSP but the wrapped in plaid DSP in the Holiday catalog would  work perfectly. I then punched out the moose from the right side. Save the moose for the tag.. Glue the DSP to the red cardstock. As in the photo.
4. Tag is Very Vanilla 2 x 3 then punched with the tag punch. Glue the moose to the tag and stamp the sentiment using Merry Merlot ink. I used some colored string to tie in the hole. Then glue this to the red cardstock as in the photo. Then glue this layered piece to the card front.

Paper Pumpkin:
Remember you have till the 10 th to get the November kit. It is gift tags. Materials to make 24. If you don’t want to make tags you can turn them into cards. All you need is cardstock. The coordinating colors needed are Early Espresso, Pool Party, Poppy Parade, and Shaded Spruce.

You can order these products from my website. Use the host code 92C74EAE for orders less than 150$.
