To A Wild Rose Christmas card

Welcome to my blog. To A Wild Rose bundle can be found in the annual catalog page 141. It is a versatile set for all seasons. I have seen Christmas cards made with the Christmas Time is Here suite which focuses on the Rose . I don’t have this but felt I could make Christmas cards with To A Wild Rose. Here is what I came up with:

Materials:
Card base - Whisper White
Layering piece is from Wrapped in Plaid DSP
Glimmer paper red from the holiday catalog
Ink- real red and garden green
Sentiment-from Snowman Season

Directions: cut paper as shown above. Stamp flower on whisper White and die cut. Same with the leaves. Glue layering piece to the front of the card . Glue the glimmer. Then arrange and glue the flowers and leaves. I used a scrap paper of the layering DSP on the in side and stamped the sentiment.

Socking stuffer mini note book/ Mini catalog and Sale-A-Bration

Welcome to my blog. Altered mini note books were another item that did well at craft fairs. These I also got at the a Dollar Store. They come 3 to a package. I used DSP from the Holiday catalog,Toile Tidings DSP, Feels like a Frost DSP and Let it Snow DSP. When measuring be mindful that the width can be different . I don’t cover the black binding. Measure from the edge of the binding out. The height stays the same. After cutting the pieces glue to front and back.

Sale-A-Bration/ Mini Catalog:

January 3rd the new Mini Catalog is available for order. If you live in the states and need one let me know and I’ll send you one. There’s some amazing new product . When my pre order gets here I’ll share . What’s neat about this catalog is that for every 50$ you spend you earn product from the Sale-A-Bration catalog.  If your a demonstrator you can order now . If you want to be a demonstrator and live in the States let me know. There are starter kits available.

Stocking Stuffer Mini Wallet writing tablet using Let in Snow DSP

Welcome to my blog. Can’t believe it’s December already! I’m going to start a series on stocking stuffers. This first one is a Mini Wallet Writing Tablet. This was very popular at my craft fairs. The writing tablets I got at Dollar Tree. They come in a package of 5. Pull them apart keeping the backing. To ones without card stock you need to add on on the back.
Here’s how to cut the DSP:
Then put the tablet on the paper as in the picture. Crease edges before gluing pad. When you’ve finished glue tablet.
Next put on the belly band
Last glue the tree on the front on the belly band.

On Line Extravaganza /Paper Pumpkin Alternative

Welcome to my blog. Tomorrow is the last day for Stampin Up Online Extravaganza. Remember you save 15% on select items. See my last blog for details.
I decided to make some alternatives to the October Paper Pumpkin. I wanted to make some cards that are easier to mail. Here’s what I came up with:

Materials and Directions:
1. Card base- Night of Navy cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. fold to make card 4-1/4 x 5-1/2
2. Layering piece. I used a piece from Feels Like Frost DSP cut 4 x 5-1/4. Glue to card front. Then with the largest nesting die cut out the front piece. Be sure to open the card base and lay flat to put the die on top of the layering piece then cut it out.
3. I then took the paper pumpkin card and cut the front 4 x 5-1/4. I stamped the sentiment from paper pumpkin and the snow flakes . I then used the images from the Snow Front stamp set .  For the cabin I stamped off once before stamping. I then glued this to the inside. I then took the trees from the paper pumpkin kit. I cut one side of the trees off then glued to the inside of the car. Last I added the cardinal.
With the leftover from this card I made this card.
