Quick cards using DSP from the Mini Catalog and Sale A Bration

Welcome to my blog. Hope you had a great weekend. Did you get some crafting done? I have several birthdays coming up and needed more cards. I decided to make some Quick Cards using DSP from the Mini Catalog and Sale A Bration catalogs. For those new to card making DSP refers to Designer Series Paper. This paper has images on both sides. Sometimes it’s hard to choose the side you want to use for the card front layer but with this card technique you can see both sides.
Materials and Directions:
Card base- choose a color of cardstock you want to use for your card base. From an 8-12 x11 piece cut 5-1/4 x5- 1/2( you can get 2 ). Then score @ 1 inch on the 5-1/4 inch side.

Card front- DSP cut at 5-1/4 x4 adhere to the card base
Side strip- DSP 3/4 x5-1/4 glue to side strip of cardbase
Inside- Whisper White 3-3/4 x 5 adhere
Lables I used the dies from Painted Poppies bundle to make the labels
Sentiments are from the Peaceful Moments bundle.
Here are two I made into sympathy cards.

Honey Bee fun fold card

Welcome to my blog. Hope your having a great weekend. No dog shows this weekend so I played in the craft room and came up with this card.  I like making different styles of cards. This fun fold card will fit in an A2 envelope.
Materials and Directions:
1. I used Daffodil Delight here’s how I cut and scored.
2. Here is the rest of the paper I used and the measurements for cutting.
3. Glue card base to the black cardstock
4. Glue DSP to the sides
5. I cut out a circle in Whisper White using a 3 inch circle die . Using Terra-cotta Tile ink I stamped a beehive. I stamped off first so it wouldn’t be so dark. I cut it out using the die from the bundle. I then stamped the sentiment. The bees I stamped on Whisper White then colored using the Stampin Blends Light Seaside Spray(wings) and dark Daffodil Delight ( stripes on body).
Then put them on the circle glued the smaller and used dimensionals for the other. I put glue on the back of one side of the circle and glued to the front. I used the Whisper White layer in side the card.

Peaceful Moments bundle

Welcome to my blog. Yesterday I shared Peaceful Poppies bundle and DSP. Today I have a card using Peaceful Moments. Both of these bundles are part of the Peaceful Poppies Suite in the New Mini Catalog. I loved everything in the suite so I bought it( I usually  don’t buy the whole suite).
You don’t have to purchase all but can buy the parts you want. On to the card. This bundle has a stamp set of sentiments and a die set.
I used both to make this simple card.

The card base is Whisper White 5-1/2 x 4-1/4.
The layer is a piece of Seaside Spray 5-1/4 x4. I die cut as in photo. The second layer is a piece of Lily Impression DSP I earned from the Sale a Bration was. I then used a piece of the Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon around the middle. I then glued the layer to the card base.
Last using the smaller flower die I cut one out of Whisper White. I stamped the sentiment and used dimensionals to adhere to the front. I used some of the sequins from the suite to put on the flowers.
You can buy all the materials I used from my website. Don’t forget to use the host code 43V34BVV for orders less than 150$. Remember that for every 50$ purchase you get to choose a free product from the Sale A Bration catalog!
