Simple Z fold cards using Timeless Tulips

Welcome to my blog. Last week I showed a Z fold card I made using a die I have. This week I thought I would show you Z fold cards you can make without a special die. Today I thought I’d focus on the simple Z card using the Timeless Tulips bundle. This is one of my favorite bundles from the Mini Catalog.  I’ll show you 2 ways you can do it.
Card 1
1. I piece of cardstock 5-1/2 x 11 ( I used Blushing Bride) score@ 5-1/2; 2-3/4
2. Layering pieces 2@ 2-1/2 x 5-1/4 I used scraps from Follow Your Art DSP from the Annual Catalog .
I then glued to card base
Whisper White layering piece 5-1/4 x 4-3/4 - I stamped the sentiment and flowers then attached to the card base

3. The tulips I punched from scraps of Perennial Essence DSP. With scraps of Whisper White and Blushing Bride I die cut using the layering circles dies. I glued the flowers to the White circle and glued this to the top of the pink. I then glued to the front. Remember to only put glue on one side so you don’t glue it shut.
Card 2
This method gets you 2 card bases from 1 pieces of 8-1/2 x11 piece of cardstock
1. Cut the card stock 4-1/4 x 11( I used Blushing Bride)
Score@ 2-3/4 x 5-1/2
2. Layering pieces 2@ 2-1/2 x 4 ( I used Pleased as Punch DSP) glued to card base.
White layer is 5 x 4. I stamped sentiment before gluing to the card base.
3. The tulips I punched out of the Pleased as Punch DSP.
The circles I cut out like I did for the other card. I glued the tulips and added to card as in the other card.
As you can tell from the picture you can orientate the card 2 ways.

You can order the Bundle and paper from my website. For orders $25 or more I will send the materials to make the 3 cards. You will have to use your own stamps because per rules I can not send stamped images.

Timeless Tulips Bundle

Welcome to my blog. Springtime is coming , time for some flowers. One of my favorite are Tulips. They come in a variety of colors. With  Timeless Tulip bundle from the Mini Catalog you can make some beautiful cards for the spring season. Last blog I used it to make get well cards. This time I have made Mother’s Day/ Easter cards.
Card 1

This a Z fold card using the stamp set only to make simple card.
The card base I made using pineapple punch cardstock. I used a Z fold die I have in my stash to cut out the card base. I used Whisper White for the layering pieces. I stamped the flowers in Rococo Rose and the stems in Pear Pizzazz.

Card 2
The card base for this card is 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 . I used Pool Party cardstock.
The tulips I stamped on Whisper White and then punched them out using the tulip punch from the bundle.
Using the So Very Vellum DSP  I cut out an oval using oval die from Annual catalog. I attached the flowers to this using glue dots( they stick better on vellum).
I used a scrap piece of paper and glued across the front then glued the oval on top( be sure to put the glue on the back where it can’t be seen)
You can order these supplies from my website. For orders $25 or over I’ll send a surprise.

Welcome to my blog. Sorry I haven’t posted in awhile. A lot has been going on lately. Hope your safe and well. I know that there have been many cancellations of events. Several of my dog trials have been postponed. Crafting events too are being postponed or moved to another date. If your like me in the 65 and older group it’s suggested that you stay home. One thing you can do while your home is to craft. You can make cards for others. Receiving a card would cheer them up .I’ve been working on get well cards. Here are 2 I have done.
The box card is from a die I had in my stash. I used Stampin Up paper and the Timeless Tulip bundle from the Mini Catalog. I used Stampin Up inks. You can choose the colors you have. The second card  I used the Special Someone stamps and dies from the Mini Catalog.
