Paper Pumpkin

Welcome to my blog. Paper Pumpkin is becoming so popular that the following  kit has sold out.
Therefore you won’t be able to subscribe until May 11 for the June kit.
Paper Pumpkin kits are fun and can be used by the whole family. You can make cards for the people you can’t visit at this time. Could also be used for homeschooling art projects. When you finish the projects you have stamp sets and ink you can use to make other cards.
I worked on the March kit over the weekend. My April kit has not come yet. Here are the cards I made.
The next 2 cards I used the cat and dog punch to make alternates.
Let me know if your interested in Paper Pumpkin and I’ll show you how to order (US only).

Ornate Gardens with Happy Tails and Nine Lives

Welcome to my blog. Coming up Wednesday Stampin Up will post the retiring list for the Annual Catalog and Mini Catalog. I’m hoping these 2 sets are not retiring. They are very versatile and make great cards. I used them with the upcoming set Ornate gardens to make these 2 cards.
Materials and Directions for both
1. Card base- cut a 8-1/2 x11 @ 4-1/4 this will give you the 2 card bases you’ll need.
2. Layers- for the base layer I cut a piece of Ornate Garden DSP @4 x 5-1/4 I glued to the front of the card.
For the next layer I used the ornate dies to make the frame using Crumb Cake cardstock. If you don’t have the die you can use a rectangle die you have or cut one out. I used Ornate Garden ribbon and threaded it through this layer.
3. I used the coordinating dog and cat punches to punch out the images from Ornate Garden DSP. Then I used my blend to color. I used dimensionals to adhere to the layer frame. I then attached to the card.

These are 2 more cards I made using the Happy Tails and Nine Lives stamp sets.
If you have been wanting the stamps and punches you can purchase them from my website. You may also want to check on the retiring product on Wednesday. If there is anything you want on the list you need to order before they’re gone. I will post the list when I get it. Remember when you order use the Host Code 76R7GTXN for orders less than $150. Also I’ll be ordering catalogs April 25. If you live in US and have ordered from me let me know if you want one.

To A Wild Rose Bundle/updates

Welcome to my blog. Yesterday I shared a simple card using the stamp set To A Wild Rose. Today I made one using the bundle.

I stamped the flower image on a piece of scrap paper I had. Then die cut out using the matching die.
I used another piece of scrap to cut out the leaves. I used glimmer paper to cut out the border. I then adhered everything to the card front.

Updates :
There is new product on the Clearance Rack. Check it out.
The next Paper Pumpkin will introduce some new incolors.

To A Wild Rose simple card

Welcome to my blog. Hope your staying well. If your looking for something to do while sheltered in place card making is something you might want to try. With ink, paper and a stamp set you can make beautiful cards to send to those you can’t be with. They will enjoy receiving a hand made card from you. I’ve started to show case some of my favorites from the Stampin Up Catalogs. For this card I used the stamp set To a Wild Rose.
Materials and Directions:
1. Card base. Made from 8-1/2 x 11 Whisper White cardstock. Cut the card stock at 5-1/2 on the 11 inch side. Take one piece and fold in 1/2. This will give you a 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 card. The other piece you will need for stamping the image.
2. For the layering piece I used a 5-1/4 x 4 piece of Perennial Essence DSP. I glued to the front of the card.
3. I cut the other piece of Whisper White 2-3/4 x 5-1/4. I stamped the rose image using Pineapple Punch ink for one layer and top layer in Daffodil Delight ink. I then stamped the leaves using Pear Pizzazz. I glued this layer on top of the DSP layer.
3. I used 2 Granny Apple Green cardstock pieces 3/4 x 5-1/4. I glued these to the sides. This gives the  illusion that there is another layer. This saves on paper.
4. I haven’t decided on a sentiment for the inside yet. Probably a Birthday card. Have several May birthdays coming up.
You can buy this stamp set and other products I used from my website. Remember to use the Host Code 76R7GTXN for orders less than $150.
Tomorrow I’ll show another card using this stamp set and it’s coordinating dies.
