Simple Christmas cards using Pine Tree Punch and DSP

Welcome to my blog. There are many products in the new Annual Catalog you might think would not make Christmas cards . For example the DSP Forever Greenery, In Color 2020-2022  and In Good Taste. I used these for this card along with The Pine Tree Punch. This is a simple fun card.
Materials and Directions
- Start with a piece of Misty Moonlight 5-1/2 x 8-1/2. Score @ 4/14 on the 8-1/2 side. Fold and have the fold at the top. This makes your card base.
- For the top layer I used a piece of the 2020-2022 DSP cut @ 3 x 5-1/2. Glue to card base as shown in a photo.
- For the bottom layer I used a piece of In Good Taste DSP cut @ 6 x 51/2. I tore along the edge to fit the card. Glue as in photo.
- For the Christmas trees I used the Pine Tree Punch and punched the trees using the Forever Greenery DSP. I glued 2 using adhesive and the one in the middle I used dimensionals.
- The inside layer is a piece of In Good Taste DSP cut 4 x 5-1/4. I glued one of the trees.
- Sentiments are from Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set.
- I also used Rhinestone Basic Jewels on the front.
Have fun making cards. See what’s in your stash and go outside the box. The paper doesn’t have to say Christmas to make a Christmas card. Look at the colors in the paper when using your punches.

Friday Fun Fold with Flowers For Every Season DSP, Forever Fern and Ornate Layers dies

Welcome to my blog. This card uses a fun fold technique I found on YouTube by the Serene Stamper. She calls it a Tri Fold Card.  This a good way to show case your DSP.  I used Flowers For Every Season DSP (again, love it) to make a Christmas card.
Materials and Directions
- Start with a piece of Just Jade cardstock 11 x 5-1/2 inches. Score( on 11 inch side) @ 4-1/4, 7 ,9-3/4
Fold on the score lines as in the photo.
- I used the 6 x 6 poinsettia piece( 2 pieces). Cut 3 pieces 4-51/4, 2-1/2 x5-1/4 and 1 x 5-1/4. Adhere to card base as in photo.
- Whisper White cardstock layer cut at 2-1/2 x 5-1/4. On this piece I stamped the image from the For Ever Fern stamp set. I then adhered to card base.
- From the Ornate Layer dies I cut out  1 label in Whisper White and  one in Poppy Parade cardstock. I also cut out a rectangle to fit the Poppy Parade label. I used sentiments from Itty Bitty Christmas. I adhered the labels as in the photo. The Poppy Parade behind the White.

TBT Dog Builder Punch For Every Season

Welcome to my blog. I felt like making a dog Christmas card today. So I pulled out the Dog Builder Punch which I’m glad carried over in the Annual Catalog. I paired it with the Flowers For Every Season DSP. After making the Christmas one I decided to make one for each season. I really love this paper. It’s vibrant and versatile. I also used the Ornate Layers dies.
Materials and Directions
- I started with a Whisper White cardstock 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 piece of cardstock. I folded in half on the 8-1/2 inch side.
- For layer 1 I used a piece of coordinating cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Adhere to the card front.
- Layer 2  I used a piece of Flowers For Every Season DSP cut @ 3-1/2 x 5. I then adhered as well.
- I used the Ornate Layer die and cut out of colors I felt went with the other colors on the card. When you use the Ornate Layer dies remember they are very intricate. Using my cuttlebug I pass the die through 6 times and it cuts out well. If you don’t have the dies you could make a rectangle layer.
- The dog image I used the Dog Builder Punch. I used scraps I had that went with the cards. I adhered  using dimensionals.

Snowman Season Christmas in July

Welcome to my blog. This past weekend my sister came for our annual Christmas in July card making. The next few days I’ll share some Christmas  cards you can make with product from the Annual Catalog. They carried over some of my favorite Christmas stamps, dies and punches. This first one is the stamp set Snowman Season.
Materials and Directions
- start with a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 fold in 1/2 on the 8-1/2 side to make the card base.
- layer is a piece of Whisper White cardstock. I have a snowflake background die I used to cut out the   layer. I then glued to the front of the card front. You can use a piece of Whisper White 4x 5-1/4 for your layer. You could also stamp the snowflakes from the stamp set on the front using Craft Stampin ink.
- I used the die from Hippo and Friends dies for stamping the image and cutting out the layer. The layering piece is the new Balmy Blue glimmer paper in the new Mini Catalog available to order from in August.
Remember July 16 is the last day to order and pay for the July card kit.

Catalog CASE card with Jar of Flowers

Welcome to my blog. Jar of Flowers is a stamp set that is part of the Flowers for Every Season suite.  It is a stamp set that can stand alone. Some times I need inspiration for making cards so I look at cards in the catalog. For this card I used the card on page 10 of the annual catalog for inspiration. I CASED the card with some differences. CASE stands for copy and share everything .
Materials and Directions:
-start with a piece of Whisper White cardstock 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 piece of cardstock. Fold at 4-1/4 on 8-1/2 side.
-  layering piece is Flowers for Every Season DSP cut @ 5-1/4 x 4. Adhere to the card front.
- I used the stitched rectangle die and cut a rectangle out of Whisper White cardstock.  I stamped the images and then colored with my Stampin Blends. I adhered a bow using Braided Linen Trim.
This next card I stamped the image on cardstock die cut using Ornate Frames dies and used Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set. This is another stamp set that is part of the suite. It also is a nice stamp set that can be bought separately.
If you run out of ideas for making your cards take a look through the catalog for inspiration. You’ll be surprised on what you can come up with!

Flowers for Every Season DSP Card/ Paper Pumpkin

Welcome to my blog. Another card using the DSP from the Flowers for Every Season suite. A lot of times the DSP is hard to choose because both sides are so pretty. With this card you don’t have to choose it showcases both sides.
Materials and Directions
- Start with a piece of Just Jade cardstock 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 for the card base. Fold in half on the 8-1/2 inch side. Then I measured 1 inch from the fold and cut.
- Cut your DSP 4 x 5-1/2. Glue to the inside of the flap.

-With leftover DSP I cut it 3/4 x 5 inches and glued on the side
- The inside layer is Whisper White cut 4 x 5-1/4. I made the triangles from leftover DSP. I haven’t decided on a sentiment. You can use the sentiment of your choice.
Here are 2 more cards using DSP.
This card uses a piece of DSP 6 x 4. I then tore it and glued to the card front.
This card uses the 2 x 4 leftover piece of the DSP and a scrap I had. I cut the DSP in squares 2 x 2 pieces. Adhered to card as in the photo( the top piece is adhered with dimensionals).
