Simple card using Gilded Autumn DSP

Welcome to my blog. Have you had a chance to look at the new Mini Catalog? Lots of pretty DSP. You can make simple cards using DSP, cardstock and ink. The paper alone makes your cards pop. The above card I made using the Gilded Autumn DSP. The paper is gorgeous. I have several Birthdays coming up this fall so I decided to get started on them.
Materials:
- 8-1/2 x 11 Cinnamon Cider cardstock (153078)
- Gilded Autumn DSP (153520)
- Basket Weave & Metalic Ribbon combo153553)
- scrap of Whisper White cardstock
-Everyday Label Punch (144668)
- Cinnamon Cider Stampin pad(153114)
- Sentiment Peaceful Moments stamp set (151595)
Directions:
- Make a card base with the Cinnamon Cider cardstock. Cut the cardstock @ 5-1/2 on the 11 inch side. Fold in half. You will get 2 card bases from the cardstock.
- For your layering piece cut a piece of the Gilded Autumn DSP 4 x 5-1/4. Then cut this piece at 3 inches.
-  Glue the DSP to the card front as in the photo.
- I used a piece of the ribbon to glue along the seam
- I made a label using the punch and a scrap of Whisper White cardstock. I then stamped the sentiment. Last I adhered to the card using dimensionals. I added a couple of  Rhinestones.
- Inside layer 4 x 5-1/4 inch of Whisper White cardstock. I stamped the sentiment. I also made triangles out of scrap of DSP to decorate.

Fun Friday using DSP to make Christmas cards with my dog stamps

Welcome to my blog. I love my Stampin Up products and how they work with other products in my stash. For the cards above I used Forever Greenery DSP and the In Color DSP to make my dog Christmas cards. The stamps are not from Stampin Up. I love making dog cards and have many dog stamps. I like using Stampin a products to make cards with them. The Stampin Up Cardstock is the best around and I used it for the above card bases.
You can buy the cardstock and DSP from my website. Have fun using it making your projects.
Have a great weekend. I have another agility trial Sunday.

Have a Hoot Flip it card/Bonus Days

Welcome to my blog. Had problems with blogger but have it working now. On August 4th the new Mini Catalog will be available to order from. One of my favorites in the new catalog is the Have a Hoot bundle.

This stamp and die set is great for fall/winter cards and projects. I decided to make a flip it card using a a flip it die from my stash( Stamps of Life).

I also used Feels Like Frost DSP. The card base is Whisper White. I cut everything out using the dies from my flip it die set and then put it together. If you don’t have the flip it dies you can make a similar card called a Swing Card. StampingWithAmore on YouTube has a nice video on how to make one. Here is one I made using this video.

Materials and Directions
-Start with a piece of cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score @ 4-1/4 . Then on 1 side @ 2-1/8. Center the die over the fold as in picture. Line up the cutting plate at the fold line to cut out.
- Layering pieces. 1 @ 4x5-1/4 and 2 @ 2x 5-1/4
-  Layering squares dies. 1 large  1 smaller.  The large one is to make the swing part. The video shows how to do this. The other make 2 white and one in color same as card base.

Bonus Days
Ends August 3rd. You can use yours Bonus Coupons August 4th - August 31st 2020.

Jar Punch Christmas card/ Bonus days

Welcome to my blog. Hope you had a great weekend. The dogs and I had our first agility trial since March. It was fun seeing friends we haven’t seen in a while. I even was able to run with a mask on. Looking forward to the one next Sunday.Using punches, paper and stamps is a fun simple way to make a card. For the above Christmas card I used the Jar Punch.
Materials and Directions
- Start with a piece of  Balmy Blue cardstock 5-1/2 x 8-1/2. Fold in half on the 8-1/2 side . This will be your card base.
- The layering piece is from In Good Taste DSP cut 4 x 5-1/4. Adhere to the front of the card.
- I punched 3 jars. 2 from scraps of plaid DSP and 1 from Whisper White cardstock. For the White one I stamped trees from Snow Front stamp set in garden green. For the plaid ones I used the Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon ( page 161 of the annual catalog) to make the bows. For the White one I used the Metallic Seaside Spray Ribbon ( page 160 of the annual catalog) to make the bow.

CASE continued using Merry Moose stamp set and Moose Punch

Welcome to my blog. Yesterday I shared what it means to CASE a card . I then showed how I CASEd the card on page 59 of the Annual Catalog. The cards above are other ways you can CASE the card.
1. Copy the layout.
Using the Moose Punch( available in the New Mini Catalog August) and Tree Punch(Annual Catalog I copied the lay out of the card
2. Copy the color scheme.
I used a stamp set from my stash I copied the blue/ white color scheme.
3. Copy the technique.
The original card had a scene stamped on a shape layer. For this card I used the Merry Moose stamp set to stamp a scene on a rectangular shape.
When you get in a slump take a look through the catalog for ideas and see how you can make them your own.
Happy Crafting!
Have a great weekend. Sunday the pups and I have our first agility trial since March. It will be fun to get out a little. I’ll also see if I can run with a mask on( been practicing at home).

Thursday CASE Snow Front Stamp Set

Welcome to my blog. Have you ever run out of inspiration. Using the Annual Catalog can inspire your card making. Look through the catalog, find a card you like and CASE it. CASE stands for Copy and Share Everything. I did this to make this card. The card I CASED is on page 59 of the annual catalog. This simple card uses the Snow Front stamp set.
Materials and Directions
- Start with a piece of 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 Misty Moonlight cardstock. Fold in half on the 8-1/2 side
- Layering piece is In Color DSP (2020-2022) 4 x 5-1/4. Glue to card front.
- Stitched Nested label die used to cut Whisper White cardstock. I stamped the images from Snow Front stamp set. Trees in Garden Green and Cabin in Soft Suede. I do not have Shimmer paint so I used white glitter paper from my stash to add dimension. I cut 2 pieces of Whisper White faux linen ribbons (from Flowers For Every Season ribbon combo pack) and glued to the layer piece. I then used dimensionals to attach the label.
- I could not find the vellum paper( in a safe place lol) so I used white glitter paper to cut out the sprigs with the Sprig Punch.
- The inside layer is a piece of Whisper White cardstock 4 x 5-1/4 . I used a scrap of the leftover In Color DSP to decorate the bottom. The greeting comes from the stamp set Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set.
You can find all the materials on my website. Don’t forget to use the Host Code for orders less than $150.
Tomorrow I’ll show other ways to CASE cards.
