Wacky Wednesday Halloween using Stampin Up and my stash

Welcome to my blog. I love my Stampin Up products and how well the meld with other products I have. Today I worked on Halloween cards for craft fairs , family and friends. I used Stampin Up cardstock and DSP with dies and stamps I have.
- For the flip cards I used new and retired Stampin Up DSP. The card on the left is DSP from the holiday catalog. The one on the right is retired Stampin Up DSP. The card bases I made using dies I have. The same for the ghost and bat.

-The pumpkin and ghost card I used current DSP from the holiday catalog. The ghost and bat are from my stash.

I have a lot of Halloween from Stampin Up and other companies. Because I don’t make many Halloween cards I usually just get the Halloween Stampin Up DSP and rest comes from my stash.
If you need Halloween stamps and dice there are several nice ones in the Holiday Catalog. Here’s a couple.

Thanksgiving and Winter cards

Welcome to my blog. The cards for today I made using the same sketch I used yesterday. One is for Thanksgiving and one a Winter card.
Thanksgiving card

-  For this card I used the same directions from yesterday. The card base is Very Vanilla cardstock. The layer is from the Gilded Autumn Speciality DSP.  The image is stamped on a square of Very Vanilla cardstock using Cinnamon Cider ink. The stamp set is retired Pleasant Pheasant. This is one of my favorite fall stamp sets. It works well with new DSP paper.
Winter Card

This could be a winter Birthday card as well as a Christmas card. This card also uses the same directions as yesterday’s card. The card base is Night of Navy cardstock. For the layer I used Trimming The Town DSP. The image is also from the Trimming The Town DSP. I used the layering circles to cut out the image from the paper. I then die cut a larger circle using the layering circle dies. I glued the image to it.

Simple card using Celebrate Sunflower bundle

Welcome to my blog. I needed a card for a swap and had trouble figuring out a design. When I need inspiration I go to Pinterest and checked out my sketch file.Sketches are a good way to get your creative juices going.  I used this sketch to help me make my card.
I used part but not the whole sketch. The sunflower being so big I didn’t feel I need the square layer.
Materials and Directions
- start with a 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 card base in Bumblebee.
- layer 1 is DSP 5-1/4 - 4 I used a scrap of Gilded Autumn Speciality DSP I had. Glue to card front.
- layer 2 is a a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock 2-1/4 x 5. I embossed this piece using the Greenery embossing folder. Glue on top of layer 1 as in photo.
- The sunflower image I stamped on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. I colored using my Stampin Blends. I cut out using the dies from the bundle. I cut out the leaves from Old Olive cardstock. I glued the leaves then adhered the sunflower with dimensionals.
- inside I glued a strip of DSP on the side. The sentiment is from this stamp set. I also stamped the smaller sunflower inside.

Love of Leaves Bundle with Gilded Autumn Speciality DSP

Welcome to my blog. Fall is coming and this bundle is a good pick for making fall cards. For the card above I used a card sketch that could be used for all your DSP to make other seasonal cards.
Materials and Directions
- Start with a card base of Very Vanilla cardstock 5-1/2 x 4-1/4.
- Layering piece is Early Espresso cardstock 5-1/4 x 4
- Layering rectangles I made using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I cut 3 using the large out of Pumpkin Pie cardstock. The other 3 using a smaller out of Gilded Autumn Speciality DSP. I glued them together as in the photo. I then glued them to the Early Espresso layer. I then adhered to the card front.
- I cut out the leaves from scrap paper using the Stitched Leaves Dies from the bundle. I used a nesting die for the sentiment. I then adhered to the card.
Here is another card I made using the bundle and layering Square die set.

Corner Bookmark Card using Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and Flowers for Every Season DSP

Welcome to my blog.Yes another bookmark. I like theses corner bookmarks and using for card front is a good way to gift it. This is another project for craft fairs. I found this on Jennifer McGuire YouTube channel. I used DSP rather than stamping my own layering piece.
Materials and Directions
- I started by making the corner bookmark. I used a piece of Early Espresso cardstock 5-1/2 x5-1/2. I cut this diagonally to make 2 triangles. Score the triangle @ 2-3/4 on both sides. Here is a sample in red.
I then used the large stitched square to cut a piece of Whisper White and Bumblebee. On the white piece I stamped the sunflower image and colored it using Stampin blends markers. I folded the triangle into a square. I glued the Bumblebee square on the back( cut side). Turn over with the opening to the left I glued the white square ( that has the image)
- The layering piece is a 4 x 5-1/4 of Flowers for Every Season DSP. I placed the bookmark on top then made a dot with a pencil on the top left and bottom right. Using my paper cutter I cut between the dots. I then glued this piece to a 5-1/2 x4-1/4 Whisper White card base. I then put the bookmark through the slit .

Here are some more I made with Playful Pets and Gilded Autumn Speciality DSP.

You can purchase the materials I used from my website. Remember to use the Host Code for orders

Bookmark Card with Freezin’ Fun stamp set and Snowflake Splendor DSP

Welcome to my blog.  I watched a video on YouTube by Jennifer McGuire on bookmark cards. The above card is my take on it using Freezin’ Fun stamp set and Snowflake Splendor DSP.
- For the book mark I used 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 card base. I stamped an image from the stamp set  on both sides as in the photo. I then cut this in 1/2 . This gives you 2 bookmarks. I Colored the images.
- The card base is 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 of Whisper White cardstock. I cut a piece of Snowflake Splendor 4 x 5-1/4 to layer on top.
I placed the bookmark on top to measure where I needed to cut the opening. You can see this on Jennifer McGuire YouTube video.
