Simple Cards using Trimming The Town DSP

Welcome to my blog. This week I will focus on the DSP Trimming The Town. It is one of the papers on sale this month. These first cards use the DSP and cardstock. I have not put sentiments yet because I haven’t decided if they will be for Christmas or winter birthdays. Materials and Directions:
Card 1

- Start with a card base 5-1/2 x 4-1/4. I used Night of Navy cardstock and Smokey Slate.
- For the layers I cut the DSP to fit the front the way I wanted to have the images shown. Approximately 4 x 5-1/4. I glued to the front. Inside I will put a sentiment.
Card 2 slim line

- Start with a card base 7 x 8-1/2 score at 3-1/2. I used Pool Party cardstock. Mine has rounded corners because I used a slimline die I have.
- I used the  DSP cut at 3-1/4 x 8-1/4. Again I used a die to cut this. I could get 3/ sheet of paper. I then adhered to the front.
Have fun with the DSP to make your cards. You can order these products from my website.
Tomorrow I will share another card that uses the paper and the bundle.

Playful Pets DSP Mini Journals

Welcome to my blog. Playful Pets DSP is on sale this month. I thought this would make cute mini journals for craft fairs. You only need the paper to make these. I fuzzy cut the critters.
Directions
- First you need to measure the front and back of the journal. See photo on how I measure. Be sure to measure each journal some can be different. Mine were 2-3/4 x 4-1/2. Cut your DSP.

-I used a rounded corner punch to round the corners on one side. I then glued to the front and back. I used liquid glue to adhere the pieces. It gets you more wiggle room to get it on straight. I trimmed the paper with scissors along the inside covers if needed.
-  I next fuzzy cut the critters from the DSP. I used layering circle die to cut out the circles in red. I then adhered the critter on the circle and glued to the front of the journal.
The DSP you can buy from my website. The journals I got from the Dollar Store( 3 to a pack).
Here are some others I made.

Fall cards with Gilded Autumn Speciality DSP and dogs/ DSP sale

Welcome to my blog. The paper from the Gilded Autumn Speciality DSP is fun to make cards with. I decided to pair it with the Dog Builder Punch to make a fall card. I then decided to use my Corgi die and Border Collie stamp to make cards. I have a lot of dog stamps and dies that are not Stampin Up and love to use them with paper and other Stampin Up products.
Card 1
- The directions for the card base are the same as yesterday’s card. Card base is Cinnamon Cider and the layering piece is from Gilded Autumn Speciality DSP.
- I used the Dog Builder Punch and punched a dog out of a piece of Brushed Metallic cardstock
- I then assembled the card. I used a leaf cut out from my stash.
Cards 2 & 3

- Both card bases are Very Vanilla cardstock. The layering pieces are from Gilded Autumn Speciality DSP. The directions for theses are the same as yesterdays card.
- The corgi I cut out of Brushed Metallic cardstock. The Border Collie I stamped using Cinnamon Cider ink.
- I used leaves from my stash to complete the cards.
The ink, cardstock, DSP and Dog Builder Punch can be ordered from my website. The other dogs are from my stash. When making your cards don’t forget to use what you have with your new stuff.
