Cards using Dandy Garden DSP with the Garden Wishes stamp set

Welcome to my blog. Hard to believe it’s the middle of June already. The Mini Catalog will be retired at the end of June. One of my favorite DSP in the catalog  is the Dandy Garden DSP. I made the above cards using this DSP and the stamp set Garden Wishes.  (You can buy Garden Wishes as a bundle in the mini catalog and save 10%. It is also available in the new Annual Catalog but not as a bundle.)

Materials and Directions card 1

- Card base . White cardstock 5-1/2 x 4-1/4
- Dandy Garden DSP layer. 2@ 1 x 4 and 2@ 1 x 5-1/4
- I stamped and colored the image before adhering to card front.

Materials and Directions for card 2

- Card base is white cardstock 5- 1/2 x 4-1/4
-Dandy Garden DSP layer. 1@ 1 x 5-1/4, 1@ 3 x 5-1/4 then glued to the front.
- Cut white oval using layering oval die. I distressed the edges with Bumblebee ink. Then I stamped the image. I then adhered to the front.
- I used a border die from my stash to make the edge on the front.

Mini Slim Line Card using Pattern Party DSP and new in color cardstock Pale Papaya

Welcome to my blog. The new Annual Catalog features a selection of beautiful DSP.  The Pattern Party DSP has a variety of papers to make beautiful cards. I also made the card using the Darling Donkeys stamp set( now retired). I love this set and was sad it didn’t make the new catalog. I often pair the new DSP with older favorite stamp sets. I can’t see parting with stamp sets I like to buy new all the time. A lot of the stamp sets in this catalog mirror some of the older ones I have . I can’t see getting rid of them for a new version. Therefore I use them with the new papers. Materials and Directions for the above card:

- To make the mini slim line card base I used Pale Papaya card stock cut at 7 x 6. Fold in 1/2 on the 7 inch side.
- DSP layer is a piece of the Pattern Party DSP cut @ 5-3/4 x 3-1/4
- I used scraps of white and colored card stock to cut out the ovals with the layering dies. On the white oval I stamped and colored the image. I colored using Stampin Blends. I adhered the 2 layers together and glued to the front.
- The sentiment die I had in my stash and cut it out of scraps I had. I then adhered to the front.
-  For the inside I used a piece of white cardstock 5-3/4 x 3-1/4. I stamped a donkey image.

You can use any stamp set to make this card. You can purchase the papers I used from my website.

Stair Step card using Birthday Chick and Party Pattern DSP

Welcome to my blog. The new Annual Catalog has be live for awhile and I hope you’ve found some products you like. My favorite products are the new DSP. Very beautiful papers. I have several of the returning stamp sets one of which is Birthday Chicks. I paired it with the new Party Pattern DSP to make this card. I used a Stair Step die from The stamps of Life to make the card base. I used the new in color card stock Soft Succulent for the card base. If you don’t have a die to make the card base there is a tutorial on YouTube by Chicken Scratch ( search her YouTube channel to find it). You can purchase the stamp set and papers from my website.
