Coasters using Stampin Up DSP

Welcome to my blog. I’ve been making products for up coming craft fairs. I decided to try something new. Coasters! I’ve seen them on Pinterest and because I have lots of DSP decided to try. I used a retired DSP and Pansy Petal DSP from the new catalog.

Materials and Directions

I used:

The tiles were 4x4.I got them at Home Depot. I cut the DSP 3-3/4 x 3-3/4. Each tile is slightly different size so I measured before I cut the DSP.

I applied a layer of midge Podgorica then put the DSP on. I let it dry1 hour then applied a coat over the top. Waiting an hour between layers I put 2 more on.

When dry I used the sealer. I sprayed 2 coats.

I got medium sized circle felt pads from the hardware store and placed on the back.

This is a great use of extra DSP . These make great gifts.

Simple card using Nuts About Squirrels

Welcome to my blog. We had a rescue squirrel for many years that my granddaughter bottle fed. That’s what pulled me to this stamp set. Nuts About Squirrels has images of 2 cute squirrels along with sentiments. I made this card using a card die set I have. The paper is retired Stampin Up DSP. I stamped the image on a stitched oval I die cut out of white cardstock. I colored the image using my tri blend markers. If you don’t have  a card die set you can make the card using a 4-1/4  x 5-1/2 card base. For the layer use DSP 4x 5-1/4.

Welcome to my blog. Been getting ready for upcoming craft fairs. I will be posting some of my projects in future blogs. I’m still organizing and deciding what to keep and what goes. The project below is a banner I made for the craft fairs. Tomorrow I take it in to get laminated. I only used Stampin Up cardstock for the project.

Simple cards using Painted Christmas DSP

Welcome to my blog. You don’t need a lot to make beautiful cards. These cards I made using the Painted Christmas DSP and stuff from my stash. I’ve been using this DSP a lot and I’m going to have to buy more!

Materials and Directions for the above card

- I used Shaded Spruce for the card base which is 4-1/4 x 5-1/2
-   For the layer I used a piece of Painted Christmas DSP measuring 4 x 5-1/4. I cut it at 2-1/2 inches. I flipped over the smaller piece to use on the bottom and adhered bot pieces to the card front. I cut a strip of red glitter paper and glued at the seam.
- I stamped the sentiment on a circle I had from my stash. The sentiment also is from my stash. On the inside is stamped the words Christmas Greetings.

Here are 2 more cards I made using the Painted Christmas DSP. I like how stamping up can be used with any other products you have. I have many dog stamps I like to use. And though I love Stampin Up I won’t limit my creativity with it alone. I used a doily die I had and a circle die. On the circle die I stamped my dog images.

You can purchase Stampin Up products for my website. Remember this is Sale a Bration time. For each 50$ you spend you can pick a free product from the Sale a Bration catalog.

Card using Christmas to Remember bundle and Painted Christmas DSP

Welcome to my blog. Now that I’ve got my craft room semi organized I’ve begun to make Christmas cards and craft fair items.  The above card I made in order to show case both sides of the beautiful Painted Christmas DSP. I also used the dies from the Christmas to Remember bundle. This bundle is part of the Painted Christmas Suite. I only bought the bundle and DSP from the suite. I really love this paper.

Materials and Directions

- Card base is 5-1/2 x 4-1/4. Trim the front side so there is 1 inch left. See photo

- The DSP is 5-1/2 x4 glue inside 1 inch strip.

-Use the reverse side of the DSP cut 3/4 x 5-1/2 and glue to the spine.

- Using dies from the the bundle I cut out pine cones in scraps of brown and glitter paper I had. I glued to the front.
- Inside I glued a piece of white cardstock cut 5 x 4. The sentiment is from Christmas to Remember stamp set which is part of the bundle. I stamped it using Garden Green ink.

You can buy the any part of this suite from my website. For orders less than 150$ you can use the host code.
