Share What You Love valentines/updates

Good evening. No dog show the past weekend but a weekend full of cardmaking. First I attended a fantastic on line card making class by Karen Titus. Check out her blog for other classes by her. Then on Sunday I hosted my own card making class at our local bar and grill.
Here are the supplies needed for the above card:
-Very Vanilla cardstock for the card base
-3 x4 piece of wood texture DSP
- soft Suede Stampin ink pad
- heart dies I used my retired Stampin Up dies. If you don’t have heart dies the BeMine Stitched
Framelits would be worth getting.
-Share What You Love DSP

Directions:
1. Glue the Wood Texture DSP layer to the card front
2. Glue heart onto the DSP layer
3. Add the sentiment in soft suede
Here is another version of the card using Early Espresso as he layering piece.

The card above uses only DSP and a piece of ribbon. Inside sentiment can be hand written or stamped. Very simple but pretty. To make this I used:
Gray Granite cardstock for the card base
Petal Pink cardstock 4 x 5 1/4
Petal Promenade DSP 3/34 x 5
Piece of scrap ribbon

 Directions:
1. Make a card base from Granite Grey cardstock.
2. Glue the DSP on top of the Petal Promenade
3. Place the ribbon next gluing the ends on the back of the Petal Promenade
4. Glue this to the front of the card base.
This next card uses DSP from Petal Promenade with a sentiment on the front

Let it Ride casual stamper/Monday updates

Good evening. Had another fun weekend of agility with my dogs. I was hoping to get this posted Sunday but fell asleep.
This card is a sample of casual stamping. It’s taking simple stamping and adding to it. I stamped the images on a piece of very vanilla cardstock cut from rectangle Framelits. Then mounted this on a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock cut rom a larger rectangle Framelits. I then glued this on a very vanilla cardbase .

This card is a sample of avid stamper. I stepped it up by using a die I have in my stash, and wood textures DSP.
All these examples show that you can create with what you have and do not have to have everything to make beautiful cards. Creating with what you have is what I like about crafting. It’s all good.
Sale-A-Bration continues. Earn free stuff with every 50$ you spend.  Also Paper Pumpkin subscriptions can earn you free stuff as well.
You can order product from my website . Use host code J96WWRT9 for orders less than 150$.

Let it Ride #simple stamping

Happy Friday. You’ve probably seen cards defined as #simple stamping and may have wondered what it is. Stampin Up has defined 3 levels of stamping:
Beginners-  A new stamper wanting to try something simple and easy.
Casual-  Someone more experienced and ready to try some new things
Avid- Experienced stamper also known as a collector who loves collecting new stamps, paper and craft tools then using these in their creations(me!).
What kind of stamper are you? Let me know.

The above card is an example of  a Beginner card hence #simplestamping. This stamp set Let it ride is a beautiful representation of horses. One of the best horse set I’ve seen. Materials used:
Card base- very vanilla cardstock
Stamp set- Let it Ride
Mossy Meadow Stampin pad
Soft Suede Stampin pad
You can order these from my website. Use the host code J96WWRT9 for orders less than 150$.
Hope you have a great weekend. I will post a sample of casual stamper and avid stamper on Sunday.
