Welcome to my blog. I worked on some 4th of July cards this past weekend. One of the cards I made is a sample of simple stamping. I used the stamp set Dandelion Wishes with Misty Moonlight and Real Red Stampin Pads. The other2 cards I used Butterfly Beauty dies.

Fun Friday using Hippo Happiness bundle
Welcome to my blog. Stampin Up is neat in that you can use it with other products in your stash to make your cards. For today’s cards I used a die I have to make a flip card with the Hippo Happiness bundle. I also used the Medium Daisy punch and the Playing With Patterns DSP. I cut out the card base with the die as well as the layers. I used the dies from the die set to make the circle and ovals. I stamped the images on Whisper White card stack then die cut them out using the dies that come in the Hippo Happiness bundle. I punched out the daisies using the punch and scrap DSP. I edged the flowers with Crushed Curry ink.
I think you’d have fun with the Hippo Happiness bundle. You can buy the products I used from my website (except for the card die).

Zany Zebra 6 x 6 One Sheet Wonder using Playing With Patterns DSP
Materials and Directions
1. To start you will need 4 Whisper White card bases @ 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 scored at 4-1/4 on the 8-1/2 inches side .
2. You will need 2 pieces of Playing With Patterns DSP . Here is the template I used for cutting.
I cut both at the same time. I made the 1st cut @ 2-1/2 inches then cut the pieces from this section. I then cut the remaining piece at 1-1/2 then cut the pieces from this section. That will leave you with a 2 x 6 inch piece that will be used for 2 cards.
3. 2 cards I made by mixing the pieces and adhering to the card front as in the photo.
4. 2 cards I made by using the 2 x 6 pieces. I cut these down to 2 x 5. I then cut a layering piece
2-1/4 x 5-1/4. I glued the DSP to this.
5. I used the Layering Circle dies for the zebra.I cut out the small one using Whisper I then stamped the zebra It. The larger one I die cut out of Bumblebee cardstock. I then attached the small one to it and adhere to the card front with dimensionals.

Daisy Lane Triangle Fold Card
Welcome to my blog. I like making fun fold cards. They add interest to the card. The Triangle Fold card is simple to make. I used DaisyLane stamp set, the 2 Daisy punches and Flowers For Every Season DSP.
Materials and Directions ( pictures are from another triangle fun fold)
1. Start with a piece of Old Olive cardstock 8-1/2 x 11. Score @ 4-1/2 on the 8-1/2 inch side and 5-1/2 on the 11 inch side.
2. Cut diagonally. I had to cut by hand because my cutter is small. This gives you 2 card bases.
3. Cut a 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of DSP diagonally. Glue the pieces to the front.
4. Punch out 2 Daisies using the medium and large punch in Whisper White. I edged the flowers using Daffodils Delight ink. Glue small on top of the medium and adhere to front of the card.
5. Inside layer is 4 x 5-1/4 inch of Whisper White. I stamped the flower from Daisy Lane using Daffodil Delight. The sentiment is from a retired set. I used a strip of scrap DSP for the edge.

Welcome to my blog. Father’s Day is this Sunday. Here is one last project you can use for Father’s Day or any occasion. It’s a simple gift card holder.
Materials and Directions
1. Start with a piece of Bumble Bee card stock cut at 4-1/4 x 11 inches. Score @5-1/2 & 9 inches.
2. With a circle punch I notched the pocket as in the photo.
3. Outside layer I used In Good Taste DSP cut@ 3-1/4 x 4. I used the same DSP to cover the pocket cut @1-1/2x 4. Inside layer is a piece of Whisper White cardstock cut @3/4 x 4. I then adhered these layers to the card. Then using tear and tape on 2 sides I glued the pocket side down.
4. The images came from Rooted in Nature stamp set. For the tree slab I used Soft Suede ink . I stamped off once before stamping on a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock. The sentiment I stamped using Early Espresso. I then fuzzy cut out . The leaves I stamped on Old Olive using Memento ink and then used the matching die from the Matching Roots dies. I then adhered to the card as in the photo.
5. On the inside layer you can stamp a sentiment that you want. I haven’t decided if I’m going to use for Fathers Day or an upcoming birthday.
