Fun Fold two ways

 Welcome to my blog. Hope things are going well for you. This fun fold is easy to make . It also enables you to you both sides of your DSP. I used the Flower and Field DSP and Paper Blooms DSP that I got from the Sale a Bration catalog. If there is something you wanted from Sale a Bration catalog you have till February 28th.

Card 1 

-Card base is 5-1/2 x 4-1/4.  Cut 1 inch from front side.

- DSP is 5-1/4 x 4 then cut off 1 inch. Glue the 3-1/4 x 4 piece to the front. Turn the 1 inch strip over and glue to the inside.

- I used Oval Occasions bundle for the sentiment. The punch for the lables.

Card 2

- Card base is 5-1/2 x 4-1/4. Cut 1 inch from the front. Save this piece

- DSP is 5-1/4 x 4 cut off 1 inch. Glue the 3-1/4 x 4 to the front.

-  5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of White cardstock. Flip over the 1 inch piece of DSP and glue to the White cardstock.

- With the 1 inch piece of cardstock you saved  score at 2-1/4 inch. Glue to the white piece of cardstock. . Then glue this piece to the inside.

- I used layered circle dies. On the white circle I stamped my image usingBirds and Branches stamp set.

Valentine treat holders

 

Welcome to my blog. Hope you had a great weekend. I worked on Valentine treat holders. I also went to an agility trial with my dogs.

The first treat holder I made using the Little Treat Box dies from Stampin Up. 

The second one I used the TT treat box die from the stamps of life. I put valentine tic tacs in it.

The third box I made following a YouTube tutorial by Lisa Mears. It’s a conversation heart slider box.

The last one I used retired Heart boxes from Stampin Up. I filled with Hershey kisses.

Corner fold Valentine’s Cards using Darling Donkeys, Way to Goat and Heartfelt stamp sets

 

Welcome to my blog. For these Valentine’s Day cards I paired non traditional with traditional Valentine stamps. Darling Donkeys came from Sale a Bration catalog that I got free for my $50 purchase. Way to Goat and Heartfelt are from the Annual Catalog.

Materials and Directions 

- Card base  is 5-1/2 x 4-1/4. I used Rococo Rose cardstock. 

To make the fold go in 3 inches on top and side. Score then fold

-The DSP layer is 4 x 5-1/4. After cutting place on the front of the card then fold. Cut along the fold.

Then glue the pieces as in the photo. Afterwards I glued the corner down. I used Fine Art Floral DSP from the Mini Catalog and Paper Blooms DSP ( I got free from the Sale a Bration catalog).

- For the goat I used layering heart dies from my stash. For the Donley I used layering oval die from the Annual Catalog.

- For the inside I used white cardstock 4 x 5-1/4 . I stamped the images from Heartfelt stamp set using Magenta Madness Stampin pad.

Simple card using Paper Blooms DSP

 Welcome to my blog.  These cards are fun and can be made using any DSP you have. You can make several from one piece of DSP.

Materials and Directions 

- Card base is White cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 folded in half to make a card base that is 5-1/2 x 4-1/4

- Layer 1 is a piece of cardstock (I used pink) 3-1/4 x 4-1/4.

   Layer 2 is a piece of Paper Blooms DSP 3 x 4. For the one card I cut the layer diagonally.

Glue layer 2 to layer 1. Then glue this piece to the card front.

- I used border dies I had to embellish the front. If you don’t have border dies you can cut a strip of cardstock.
