Tuesday Tips/ love it chop it

Thanks for stopping by. I made the above card using the “love it chop it method” and Over the Moon stamp set. It’s fair time here this stamp set is great for this.
What is “love it chop it”? It’s a way of preparing your DSP so that you can easily use it( instead of hoarding it). I found this technique on Kylie Bertucci you tube channel. Since it was 100+ outside today I decided to give it a try. I highly recommend you watch Kylie’s video. She goes into more detail.
But here is the short version:
1.12 x12 DSP cut at 51/4( you get 2 this size). You will have a strip left over. I cut it in half.

Remember for directional images cut how you want it to be seen( portrait or landscape).
2. Cut the 51/4 pieces at 4( you will get 3 this size)

For storage I’m using this storage box I got at Michaels (70%off). These boxes are just the right size. I started with the most recent DSP and am now working on my favorite older DSP.

Materials and Directions for the card:
1. Mint macaron cardstock base 51/2x 41/4
2. Retired DSP cut using #loveitchopit
3. White layer left over from paper Pumpkin
4. Stamp set Over the Moon in the new catalog. Image covered with Stampin blends I have.
All can be purchased on my website.
Happy crafting
