Simple stamping fixer upper/Updates

Good evening . Hope you had a great weekend. I went to the Scrapbook Expo this past weekend . Had a fun time with my sister.
Today’s card started out one way but ended differently due to ink malfunction on my part. I love the Painted Seasons stamp set and wanted to make a card with the pine cones. It was going to be a simple card using cardstock and ink. While stamping I goofed up on the left side , tried to fix but it looked worse.
So I ended up using Painted Seasons DSP to fix the card instead of starting over.
Materials/Directions
1. Whisper White cardstock for the card base. Cut 81/2 x 51/2. Fold on the 81/2 inch side at 41/2.
Use Soft Suede Stampin pad to stamp pine cones on the card front. I didn’t want a dark color so I stamped off once before stamping on the front. Then stamp leaves with Mossy  Meadow ink.
2. Painted Seasons DSP cut at 3/4 x 51/2. I glued this piece on the left side to hide my mistake. I think it helps the card pop.
If you think it through there always seems to be a way to fix mistakes . You might even like the card more.
